Recombinant Mouse BMP7 Protein INQUIRY

Cat.No: RP-2003M
Cat# RP-2003M
Product Name Recombinant Mouse BMP7/BMP-7Protein
Synonym OP1
Background Bone morphogenetic protein 7 (BMP 7), also known as osteogenic protein 1 (OP-1), is a widely expressed TGF-beta superfamily member with important functions during embryogenesis, in the adult, and in disease. Mouse BMP-7 is synthesized with a 29 amino acid (aa) signal sequence, a 262 aa propeptide, and a 139 aa growth factor domain. The growth factor domain of mouse BMP-7 shares 98% and 100% aa sequence identity with human and rat BMP 7, respectively.

Storage This lyophilized recombinant mouse BMP7 protein is stable at 2-8 °C, but should be kept at -20 °C for long term storage, preferably desiccated. Upon reconstitution, the recombinant mouse BMP7 protein is stable for up to one week at 2-8 °C. For maximal stability, apportion the reconstituted preparation into working aliquots and store at -20 °C to -70 °C. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
